Pig Intubation Assist Tool
Use in conjunction with a laryngoscope to safely re position the epiglottis and aid in fast, trauma free intubation on all swine. While holding the laryngoscope in the pig's mouth use the other hand to place the Intubation Assist into the pig's mouth, gently sweep behind the epiglottis to free the epiglottis. Once this is done, lay the tool down, grab an ET tube and intubate. This tool is used to gently re position the epiglottis and should not be left in the patient's mouth.
